According to UNESCO, the budget for global education was 5.4 trillion USD in 2020. The market for online education is expected to reach 33 billion USD in 2025. The budget for education is expected to increase by 2% per year during the period 2023–2028.

In Vietnam, the budget for education is 523,000 billion VND (2022), accounting for 7.6% of GDP, according to the Finance Ministry. In the school year 2022-2023, the country will have 52,164 schools, from preschool to high school, with a total of 21.5 million students.

The trend of applying technology for personalized learning through Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D printing, robotics, and gamification will make learning more engaging for students.
